One thing I often get asked is what are the names of websites that you can write for to help you make money by writing. Which sites you choose to submit your articles to depends on exactly what you are looking to gain from them. Below I have listed some websites to help you make money by writing. I have split them into three groups, link builders, ad revenue and other income methods. To successfully make money by writing you probably need to mix all three.
Article directories - Link builders - Use these websites to get traffic to your own website or blog by submitting articles which can then be republished by others on their sites so long as they include your links. Some allow you to embed links within your article, others only permit links in your resource box.

Ad Revenue Article Websites -Write and submit articles to these websites and make money from a share of the money made from the adverts placed along side them. The majority of these websites use adsense. You will need to sign up for an adsense account but this is very simple. Look for websites that pay a higher share to you, but also consider their ability to provide traffic to your articles. Some websites will also allow you to submit articles you have published elsewhere but others want exclusivity.
